1.        Richard Demers of New Jersey (don’t know town --- he listed it as CMCH ---???)Boat number 88 and time – 1:20:30

2.       Stephen Petrie of Lusby, MD – Boat number 38 and time – 1:20:46

3.       Earl Blackwell of Newark, DE – Boat number 18 and time – 1:20:49

 

Single Kayak – Women

1.        Patti Nash of Greensboro, MD – Boat number 28 and time – 1:44:53

2.       Karen Simpler of Henlopen Acres, DE – Boat number 24 and time – 1:45:58

3.       Alexis Zink  of Maryland (she didn’t give a hometown on her form) – Boat number 83 and time 1:50:04

 

Dual Kayak:

1.        Mike and Maryellen Morris of Lewes, DE  - Boat number 36 and time – 1:32:47

2.       Chris and Sarah Rambo of Lewes, DE – Boat number 39 and time – 1:34:55

3.       Brant and Elizabeth Collins of Brick, NJ – Boat number 49 and time – 1:40:42

 

Single Canoe – There were only two entries.  The first place winner was in a super speed canoe, and asked us at registration to disqualify him, as he had special equipment, but, of course, he did come in first.  He was Steve Corbett of New Market, Maryland.  Boat number 40 and time – 1:20:28.  The only other entry in single canoe was Tom Wood of Maryland (no town given) – Boat number 8 and time 2:09:42.

 

Dual Canoe –

1.       John Koenig and Ron Bomberger of Lancaster, PA – Boat number 42 and time – 1:23:14

2.       Hal Wilson and Rob Schrack of Chester, MD – Boat number 29 and time – 1:31:11

3.       Gary Crowl and Doug White of Maryland (no town given) – Boat number 6 and time – 1:43:11

 The youngest single paddler was Andrew Rossi of Lincoln, PA who is 11 and the youngest dual paddler was Abby Bucklin of Rehoboth Beach, DE who is 8.  The “most seasoned paddler” was William Hahn of Arnold, MD, who is 86.
